Kagando Rural Development Centre/Kagando Hospital was founded in 1965 as a Leprosarium and Nurses’ Training Centre by an African Inland Missionary called Dr Carl Baker, who had himself been forced out of Eastern DRC by the Simba rebellion of 1964. Today the Hospital has a 256-bed capacity, a School of Nursing and Midwifery (230+ students), a Primary school and Nursery school (700+ students), a Mothers Care Home, a Microfinance Project, Christian Nurture/Church Ministry; and community outreach projects in Water, Sanitation, Adult Literacy, Agriculture, Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, and Community Health Programs. It is a a Church of Uganda Founded Private not for profit making Institution.
Job Summary: The Midwifery Clinical Instructor will effectively conduct clinical and classroom teaching to learners, offer support supervision and timely evaluation of the teaching- learning process.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor of science in nursing with a diploma in midwifery OR Bachelor of science in midwifery
- At least two years of related work experience
- Must be registered with the regulatory body of country of origin and the Uganda nurses and midwives council.
- Should be a female
- Must be a practicing Christian (if married attach a copy of your marriage certificate).
