Job Summary: The Child Protection Officer will be responsible for monitoring the e welfare of Un Accompanied Minors (UAMs) / Separated Children (SC) and other Children at risk; provide psychosocial support (Child Friendly information and Counseling) to UAMS/SC and other children at risk, and monitor community structures on child protection.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the American Refugee Committee (ARC) International – Alight Child Protection Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Social Sciences, Community Psychology, Adult and Community Education and Development studies.
- At least three years’ experience in working on Child Protection issues with an INGO; and excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Fluency in Swahili and ability to ride with a valid license (Class A) is an added advantage.
