Job Title:   Stores Assistant (3 Job Vacancies)

About US:

Goodman International is a Pharmaceutical Company based in Kampala – Uganda, dealing in Importation and Distribution of Human and Veterinary Medicines, Agent & Local Technical Representative (LTR) for several Manufacturers from Europe and Middle East.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving consignment from suppliers and Dispatch of goods to customers.
  • Recording items issued in the bin cards for both bulk and retail
  • Filling invoices and all other documents on a daily basis in the stores department as assigned to you by your line manager.
  • Conduct regular stock take to confirm closing stock on a daily basis.
  • Daily update of all store books and documents.
  • Daily monitoring and recording of the temperature readings in bulk and retail stores.
  • Ensure stores are always clean, organized and in order.
  • Strictly follow ISO guidelines in regards to stores.
  • Carrying out weekly and monthly stock take for both bulk and retail stores.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Academic Qualifications – Bachelor’s/ diploma in stores and logistics or any related Field.
  • Must have a minimum of TWO YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE in store management.
  • Should be fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Should be a computer literate with good command of Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and Access & Power point.
  • Excellent Communication, documentation& Customer care skills.
  • Should be Smart, punctual, good team player and ready to learn.
  • The candidate should be familiar with Stores keeping operation for example, reports, invoicing and stock taking.
  • Should preferably be 35 years and below.
