Job Title: Nutrition Assistant (4 Entry Level Job Placements)

Andre Foods International is a registered consultancy firm in Uganda with a broad-based approach to different scientific and humanitarian challenges. AFC provides multi-dimensional solutions to particularly food processing, food security, nutrition, water and sanitation, training, environment and research. The firm has been involved in consultancy work with government, industrialists, local clients, as well humanitarian work for international Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the UN agencies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The jobholder will oversee and monitor the implementation of programme activities in close collaboration with all the stakeholders in the project area.
- Ensure that all activity reports are prepared and submitted to the Nutrition Officer for sharing with all the relevant stake holders periodically after implementation.
- Ensure proper mobilization and sensitization of the beneficiaries about programme activities.
- Establish mechanism of capturing, analyzing, reporting and interpreting findings (Indicators) and best practices in relation to programme activities and their objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold a University degree in Food Science and Technology, Dietetics and Human Nutrition.
- One year of working experience in the same field.
- Proficiency in speaking any of these languages Lugbara, Madi and Kiswahili will be an added advantage.
