Food for the Hungry was founded in 1971 by Dr. Larry Ward. Food for the Hungry’s stated mission for long-term development is to graduate communities of extreme poverty within 10–15 years. The organization does this by going to some of the hardest places with an exit strategy, empowering local leaders and walking “together” with them, as they lead their communities into being thriving, self-sustainable places to live.
Job Summary: The Community Development Facilitators – Health and Nutrition is responsible for supporting all health and nutrition activities within the cluster. In addition to the specific duties outlined below, the CDF- Health & Nutrition will be responsible for providing technical support and supervision to the health volunteer teams, contributing to reporting and data collection initiating leading monitoring visits to supported facilities, and providing technical input, writing and budgetary input for new program design. .

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Health-related sector, Food science, Nutrition and relevant work experience
- At least four years of practical experience working in communities with Health and Nutrition practices and experience.
- Previous work in a refugee context is an added advantage
