a)Bachelors Degree in Medicine and Surgery and a Masters of Medicine (Community Practice) or Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) Plan A from a recognized University.

b)Experience in administration of outreach programs is an added advantage

c)A PhD in the area of specialization is an added advantage

FACULTY OF ENGINNERING

Departments:

1)Textile Engineering, Assistant Lecturer, Salary Scale: M7 (1 Post)

a)First Class or Second class upper division Bachelors Degree in Textile Engineering from a recognized University.

b)Evidence of successful completion of first year of a Masters Program in the relevant area from a recognized University.

c)Two years teaching experience in a recognized Institution of Higher Learning

d)Age limit is below 40 years

2)Agricultural Mechanization & Irrigation

Engineering, Teaching Assistant, Salary Scale: M7 (1 Post)

a)First Class or Second class upper division Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Mechanization from a recognized University.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF POSITIONS:

1. ESTATES OFFICER (CIVIL) Salary Scale: M6

Vacancy: 2 Job Summary:

To coordinate and facilitate timely implementation and execution of activities relating to physical planning, construction, machinery and transport fleet in the Estates Department.

Responsible to:

He/ she will be responsible to the University Secretary

Requirements:

a)A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from a recognized Institution of Higher Learning.

b)Should be registered with the Uganda Institution of

Professional Engineers (UIPE).

c)Computer knowledge of standard desktop applications is a requirement

d)Relevant working experience of at least three (3) years in a reputable organization.

e)Age limit is below 50 years.

SUPPORT STAFF POSITIONS:

1. TECHNICIAN I (1 POST)

Department: Ginning and Textile Engineering Salary Scale: M12

Vacancy: 1 Job Summary:

To support the Senior Technician in the management of day to day operations of the Departmental workshop/ laboratory, maintenance of the equipment and provision of technical support to the lecturers and students during practical training sessions.

Requirements:

a) An Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent in Ginning or

Mechanical Engineering

b)Computer skills

c)Have two (2) years’ experience in the relevant area

d)Should be able to demonstrate to students practical experiments in Automobile Engines

2. STENOGRAPHER

Salary Scale: M13

Vacancy: 1 Job Summary:

Providing typing services, managing office information and records and perform duties of front desk management

Requirements:

a)Certificate in Secretarial Studies – UNEB Level Two with typing speed of 40/80 wpm from a recognized Institution.

b)Computer skills

c)At least 2 years working experience in a similar position.

d)Age limit is below 38 years
