Job Summary: The Compliance Auditor will carry out an accurate reconciliation of employers’ accounts with NSSF and review the employers’ human resource policies with regards to workers’ terms of employment & emoluments paid in relation to their contributions’ records in order to ensure compliance with the NSSF Act and enhance business with the employers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and inspection of employers to enable efficient planning for audits
- Planning and commissioning of audits
- Planning, organizing and conducting exit meetings with employers after audits
- Deployment and review of Self-Assessment Tool (SAT)
- Follow up on defaulters through visits, calls and mails. Negotiating with them to pay unaudited arrears.
- Follow up on bounced cheques to have them replaced
- Following up on complaints and whistle blower cases
- Ensure organizational compliance audit targets are achieved.
- Referring difficult audited cases to legal for prosecution basing on recommendations of branch managers and giving evidence in court, when required.
- Ensuring up to date record keeping (updated dashboard, updated physical/hard copy files, updating sharepoint)
- Manage and nurture the relationship with problematic defaulters.
- Roll out and implement Know your Customer project
- Engage in audit findings’ discussions including settlement plans
- Follow employers’ unaudited arrears to cause compliance and ensure that non-compliance of employers does not exceed 1 month of non-payment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the NSSF Compliance Auditor job opportunity must hold a numerical bachelors degree preferably in Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Accounting, and ongoing professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA)
- Three years of experience in operations /a busy commercial environment.
- IT skills(Word, excel, power point presentation)
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective listening.

- Motivated self-starter, comfortable in fast paced environment.
