About US:
Christian Counselling Fellowship (CCF) began as a community-based organization (CBO) in 2002 with the bold vision of supporting child mothers returning from LRA captivity. Since its inception, the organization has broadened its vision and evolved from a CBO focused on offering psychological and spiritual counselling, to a multi-focused organization with a clear mission to respond to the plight of child mothers, orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and other vulnerable members of the community. Today, together with its collaborating partners in the District and donors locally and abroad, the organization is well known for its commitment towards the rights to education and promotion and protection of vulnerable children as well as a champion of alternative education for child mothers. CCF Operates Educational institutions, Guest Houses and Maternal and Child Health Clinic in Pader & Nwoya.
Job Summary: The Executive Director will oversee its operations in Pader & Nwoya. The incumbent will develop and oversee the strategic direction of the Organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate implementation of Organization’s vision, mission, core values and principles that are in line with the Organization’s objectives.
- Link and adapt the Organizational operating environment to the business plan in order to achieve its goals.
- Provide policy direction in establishing and implementing sound publicity strategy that creates visibility of the organization in line with the approved strategic plan
- Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments, agencies, local authorities, key decision makers and other stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing advice and necessary information to Board members on business issues.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of the Organization in accordance with the contractual, legal and regulatory obligations.
- Supervise the implementation of the strategic plan
- Direct the development and implementation of the performance management system in the Organization
- Act as an accounting officer for the Organization as per the Organization policy and procedures.
- Represent the Organization in negotiations with partners, suppliers, government departments and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms for the Organization
- Ensure a robust talent and performance management system is operational.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Management & Leadership University Qualification at Master’s Degree level
- Five to ten years of management and Leadership experience
- Previous experience with NGO/CBOs
