10 Fully-Funded Global Health Scholarships at University of Edinburgh in UK, 2017
The University of Edinburgh is offering 10 fully funded scholarships for the citizens of developing commonwealth countries. Scholarships are awarded across six online master programmes within the domain of Global Health.
The aim of Global Health Academy is to improve global health and make life better for collaborative, interdisciplinary research, education and resource development.
The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582, is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s ancient universities.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded within the domain of Global Health.
List of Subjects: MSc Clinical Education, MSc Family Medicine, MSc Global Challenges, MSc Global eHealth, MSc Paediatric Emergency Medicine and MPH Public Health
Scholarship Award: The scholarship includes full tuition fee and resources to enhance student participation, access and research skills. This includes participation in a summer school; contribution towards student costs of internet access & printing (journal articles, etc); and a contribution to MSc project costs (materials, travel, etc).
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
Eligibility: The scholarships will be awarded to a candidate who is accepted for admission onto an eligible programme and who is a citizen of and resident in one of the following developing Commonwealth countries: Bangladesh, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
Nationality: Citizen of developing Commonwealth countries are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: University accepts all of the English language qualifications for entry to the University, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test center.
Masters Scholarships
How to Apply: Applicants who are eligible for these scholarships should apply for one of the six eligible programmes in the first instance and notify the programme director of their intention to apply for the scholarship. The programme director will then give you further information on how to apply.
