About US:
Golden Crane Investment Limited operates hotels around Kampala and western Uganda. These hotels are medium – large size in operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market the service the hotel has to offer for prospective clients using all channels.
- Manage reservation and bookings for prospective clients
- Promote future marketing for the hotel services to clients in country and abroad.
- Liaise with Tour & Travel (safari) companies to attract tourist clients to the hotel
- Arrange Domestic tour activities using the hotel services as the back bone of this activity.
- Carry out marketing of the hotel services. Using (print – Newspapers, electronic- radio/ TV, Social media and other internet platforms such as emails.
- Maintain hotel website in an attractive form and relevant to prospective users / clients
- Develop, produce and utilize marketing materials such as brochures, fl iers, posters, banners, TV/Radio announcements/ adverts/spots/jingles.
- Continuously scan the market to look for business opportunities
- Spearhead business growth and Development
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a University degree from recognized institution majoring in sales, marketing online, Tour & travel hospitality, entertainment will be an added advantage.
- Three years’ experience in similar job in the same industry or other service related sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrable experience in use of online marketing and social media skills in development of advertising materials, brochures, fliers etc.
- Target oriented.
