Job Summary:  The Chief Manager Projects & Business Processes will be responsible for the strategic development, planning and measurement of the Bank’s projects and business processes and ensure their alignment to the Bank’s overall business objectives, strategic goals and best practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of best practices to enable the successful delivery of a broad range of projects to stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage and optimize the business processes and align them to bank’s policies and strategic goals.
  • Drive and support divisions and units in the strategic planning process, as well as identify and propose solutions to manage the cross-impacts and dependencies between strategic objectives and initiatives of the various units across the Bank.
  • Facilitate the enhancement of efficiency at the level of the Unit, division and the bank by proposing solutions that add value and optimise costs
  • Manage the team by empowering, motivating & managing performance of team members.
  • Report on the progress of the strategic planning process, as well as assist the General Manager in the identification and escalation of ‘warning signals’ to enable actions to be taken for the Bank to effectively pursue its strategic intents
  • Responsible for the development, coordination, control and governance of the bank’s projects to ensure that the bank achieves the desired objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional team to develop business process requirements.
  • Manage the process of providing divisions with information on business processes that will help them in decision taking, and give guidance/ technical expertise on complex processes escalated by direct reports.
  • Lead the team by implementing strategic people initiatives and inspire them to take action

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Chief Manager Projects & Business Processes job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration or Statistics from a recognized university
  • Master’s degree in a business-related field is an added advantage
  • A professional qualification in the area of Project Management is an added advantage
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in a related function ,four (4) of which should have been at managerial level
