They are recruiting for their client, an established organization in the Manufacturing industry here in Uganda, with operations in Kenya and Zambia.
Job Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner oversees all Human Resources operations and ensure they are aligned with the Company business goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of the business’ Human Capital plans
- Formulate strategies for people management, succession planning, and talent management for key managerial positions and for stakeholders
- Provide support and HR guidance to management in key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement and talent analytics
- Provide HR policy guidance to all Departmental heads throughout the business
- Work closely with management and staff to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Analyze trends and metrics within the Human Capital Directorate develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current and future business challenges
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business
- Conduct research consistently and avail value addition ideas to the business by presenting an appropriate blend of reactive and proactive solutions for people management
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Business Partner Position must possess a master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or any other related field of study.
- Professional Qualification in a relevant field and
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in similar role in a busy environment. Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws in Uganda and their application in the workplace
- Must possess strong Budgeting, planning and analytical skills with the ability to make swift decisions
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to supervise a diverse team
