Job Summary:  The Retail Sales Manager will manage the smooth execution of the Roofings Group sales strategy and ensure a client focused, committed, professional sales team who is able and willing to beat sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure each & every member of the team are fully aware of Company’s vision, Mission, Core Values & Goals.
  • Mentoring & supervising Outlet Managers in design & execution of Outlet work plan.
  • Formulate the Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Sales Budget for Retail & Outlets and cascade it to customer wise/ Product wise.
  • Plan and support Outlet Managers and their sales teams in development of specific sales models within the overall strategic framework.
  • Design and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Reviews and supports all investment and mandated to negotiate proposals
  • Optimize business turnover and revenue of the assigned portfolio.
  • Present Market Mapping to your Supervisor. Assessment of Demand Potential & requirement of Steel and Plastic products in the designated segment, collecting market information, price feedback, and collection of product samples for testing on periodic basis & Competitive Scenario.
  • Present Sales Performance to the Supervisor every month, Gap Analysis, Target for the current month and Action Plan to achieve them.
  • Formulation of customer visit plan for self and team members
  • Monitoring the daily sales activities of the team, weekly & Monthly performance review and debtors review.
  • Resolution and redress of customer complaints within the stipulated time frame.
  • Measurement of customer satisfaction index, Service time to customers
  • Participation in product promotions, Trade Fairs, Brand Building, Seminars and Road Shows.
  • Identification of training needs and ensuring trainings are imparted as per the schedule
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicants for the Retail Sales Manager should hold a Degree from an accredited University in a related field.
  • At least five years in a related role.
  • Strong problem solving & creative skills and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Impeccable level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Broad knowledge & understanding of managing a decentralized sales force.
  • Resilience under pressure, flexible thinking and ability to adopt to change.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good at multi- tasking
  • Computer literacy
