About US:
The Leadership Code (Amendment) Act 2017 established the Leadership Code Tribunal, consisting of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and three other Members. For effective performance of the functions of the Tribunal, the Act provides for a Registrar of the Tribunal, other Officers and Staff as may be necessary. Section 19 A (2) provides that the Officers and staff of the Tribunal shall be appointed by the Public Service Commission, on terms and conditions determined by the Public Service Commission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible to the Registrar for performing the following duties:-
- Coordinating implementation of existing Human Resource (HR) policies, regulations, guidelines and best practices;
- Identifying areas for policy review and interventions and adopting best practices;
- Coordinating implementation of staff welfare activities;
- Coordinating capacity building programs, including staff training and professional development;
- Developing a Human Resource Manual for the Leadership Code Tribunal
- Providing staff guidance and counseling;
- Assisting in preparation of draft estimates of expenditure;
- Processing all appointments, confirmation, promotions, and managing staff exit for the Tribunal
- Coordinating the Management and Human Resource Information Systems;
- Administering the payroll in liaison with the Accounts Section;
- Undertaking any other Human Resource Management and development duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration; or Human Resource Management; or Organizational Psychology; or Social Sciences; or other Human Resource Management related fields plus a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management; or Business Administration with a bias in Human Resource Management from a recognized University/Institution.
- Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years working experience at the level of Human Resource Officer gained from Government or from a reputable Organization.
