Job Title: Temporary Logistics Officer IT Services

Job summary: The Temporary Logistics Officer IT Services will be responsible for supporting the Logistics function and IT systems (network, software and/or hardware), provide IT user support services and oversee assets management in line with Operations guidelines and ARC Uganda’s mission.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a University degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar degree.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in the field of IT, or Logistics and Operations in an International relief organization
- Strong IT skills (generic applications, internal communications systems, and software packages)
- Experience in system installation & management; Network design, management and security; Network Monitoring and support.
- Skills in documentation & information management
- Knowledge of standard INGO and donor procurement procedures and practices
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including proven report writing skills
- Experience working with a diverse staff and confronting challenging field situations
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Work experience in a complex emergency setting preferred.
- High level of Computer literacy and knowledge of software programs: Excel, Access, and similar packages
