Job Title: WASH Assistants (2 Entry Level Job Vacancies)

About US:
Tetra Tech International Services is implementing the USAID-funded Uganda Sanitation for Health Activity. The project works to increase household access to sanitation and water services and improved health through hygiene behavior change campaigns in homes, schools and health facilities in up to 25 districts in Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Health, Statistics, Public Health, Humanities, or related field
- One years of hands-on-experience in WASH and Monitoring and Evaluation
- Good analytical, writing, presentation, communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with grantees, District Local Government, Institution heads and Community leaders.
- Strong computer skills particularly in spreadsheets, database and statistical applications.
- Excellent inter-personal, multi-cultural and team building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong innovative and problem-solving skills and ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work independently.
- Sensitivity to strict project deadlines and targets.
- Knowledge of the local working languages of the area of operation is an added advantage
