About US:
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a Provident Fund mandated to provide social security to its members as prescribed by law under CAP 222 (Laws of Uganda) through efficient management of members’ contributions. The NSSF asset base is currently over Ugx. 9.8 trillion, making the Fund one of the largest players in Uganda’s economy.
Job Summary: The Digital Support Officer will be responsible for day to day administration of the Fund’s digital platforms and execution of digital initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer all the Fund’s digital platforms on a daily basis.
- Implement all the Fund’s go to market and communications plans and activities through digital platforms.
- Drive fan base engagement with the Fund by leveraging the digital media initiatives.
- Participate in the development of the digital content plans on a regular basis.
- Ensure seamless execution of the content plans to drive awareness, education, uptake and usage.
- Provide digital coverage of the Fund’s events and initiatives through the digital platforms on a timely basis.
- Provide Digital communication support for the Fund’s product and service activations.
- Identify new opportunities presented by new technologies and technological developments and trends.
- On a daily basis, track digital activity on the platforms to ensure tailored messaging to the digital audience.
- Monitor topical conversations on the digital, identify potential risk issues for addressing a timely manner.
- Working hand in hand with Customer Service, support delivery of a seamless customer service solution through the digital platforms.
- Provide tailored responses to queries from the digital platforms in a timely, accurate and contextual manner on a daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a degree in Marketing, Communications or Business from an accredited University.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a busy organisation and demonstrable creativity in execution of digital strategy.
- Ability to interpret briefs
- Understanding of typography
- Ability to understand and appreciate our Digital Journey and Vision
- Excellent understanding of digital
- Appreciation of Analytics and customer data in building customer value
- Always up to date with New technology and opportunities they provide
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to proactively identity and leverage digital media opportunities
