Kagando Rural Development Centre/Kagando Hospital was founded in 1965 as a Leprosarium and Nurses’ Training Centre by an African Inland Missionary called Dr Carl Baker, who had himself been forced out of Eastern DRC by the Simba rebellion of 1964. Today the Hospital has a 256-bed capacity, a School of Nursing and Midwifery (230+ students), a Primary school and Nursery school (700+ students), a Mothers Care Home, a Microfinance Project, Christian Nurture/Church Ministry; and community outreach projects in Water, Sanitation, Adult Literacy, Agriculture, Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, and Community Health Programs. It is a a Church of Uganda Founded Private not for profit making Institution.
Job Summary: The Radiographer will make use of medical radiation in assessing, diagnosing, treatment and initial evaluation of patients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Radiography from a recognized Institution.
- Must be registered with the regulatory body of country of origin and the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda
- Must be practicing Christian (If married, attach copy of marriage certificate)
