Job Summary: The Bancassurance Training Officer will be responsible for implementing the department’s training and certification programs for the bank partner staff as well as the Prudential Financial Sales Consultants (FSCs).The Bancassurance Training Officer will also be required to schedule trainings, ensure attendance and maintain records, trackers and feedback surveys. In addition, he/she will be required to identify training needs and address all training gaps.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement Prudential Uganda’s training and certification programmes across bank partner staff
- Draw up and implement training calendars and one on one coaching programmes for bank partner staff
- Implement FSC training: new FSC training, 30, 60- and 90-day reviews, leadership training, weekly coaching
- Launch basic online training modules and CPDs for bank staff and FSCs
- Train bank staff on new products (both retail and bundled)
- Ensure product knowledge among all bank staff selling Prudential products
- Maintain training records – attendance, feedback surveys, trackers
- Identify and address training gaps
- Manage Prudential’s relationship with Standard Chartered Bank
- Produce data analysis reports to track FSC and bank staff productivity and performance Other duties
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management

- Prior experience in conducting training for large groups of people
- Ability to assess /identify gaps and provide solutions
- Logical thinking/Reasoning
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Clear communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to successfully work in a high activity, fast paced environment
- Excel knowledge and basic computer skills
- Flexible
- Analytical mind-set and good with Excel
- Ability and willingness to learn
