Job Summary: The Store Manager will be tasked with ensuring efficient and effective Management of the company stores.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all the operations of the stores department
- Establish and implement procedures and guidelines on storage, stock control, distribution and logistics management in accordance with departmental plans
- Coordinate and supervise Requisition processing in the stores including planning and allocation of work schedules
- Plan and organise periodic cycle stock counts to ensure that physical sock reconciles with system balances at all times
- Maintain products and raw materials categorisation into unique product classifications in the store
- Generate, analyse and report on stock positions and movement patterns for the entire product range
- Maintain the safety and hygiene in storage and handling of inventory in line with storage standards
- Maintain records and documentation of all inventory received and issued
- Conduct any other related tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Professional qualification in supply chain management is an added advantage
- Five years’ experience in a FMCG environment
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of ISO standards on inventory management.
