Job Summary: The Machine Attendant has the overall responsibility for manning one machine, collecting and packing good quality products as per company specifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check machine parameters at regular intervals during operation and report any deviations to
- the Technical operator for corrective action.
- Responsible for the inspection of all products during production.
- Hand over machine, materials and Finished goods at the end of shift to ensure proper
- working order.
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
- Inform the Technical Operator or Production shift leader of any abnormality and stop any
- machine producing out of tolerance products
- Ensure proper housekeeping by immediately informing the Technical Operator of any areas
- observed that do not conform to the set standards.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment (5S) by following standards and procedures,
- complying with statutory regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical
- publications.
Health and Safety
- Ensure personal safety, wear safety gadgets provided all the time.
- Perform safety checks on a machine before and after operating.
- Report observed safety issues at the end of the shift to the new operator.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Certificate in Mechanics, Electrical installation, crafts engineering, or a related field
- One year of related work experience
