Job Summary: The Programme Officer will implement Programmes and work with Partners and other development actors to plan and manage development interventions in accordance with the donor project documents, Local Rights Strategic Plan and CSP. The employee is also responsible for the successfully implementation of the Governance and Social Accountability Project Advocacy and Campaigns agenda as in line with Project and AAIU national and international strategies in the Paliisa Cluster. Extended support to the WPC shelter shall be the provision of overall logistical oversight to ensure functionality of the Shelter.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Laws, Social Sciences, Human rights, SWSA, and sociology from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of three years similar work experience in a reputable organization, preferably an NGO.
- Must be technically competent in at least one of the thematic areas of the 5th country strategic paper
- Demonstrated experience working with institutional donors like DGF, UN agencies, AAI Affiliate countries.
- Demonstrated experience in community participatory assessment and monitoring.
