Job Summary: The ideal candidate should be a dynamic and results-oriented finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance to join the finance function. Twill have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- ACCA/CPA qualification will be an added advantage.
- At least three years of professional accounting experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and ERP software
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of organization and ability to multi-task effectively
- Proven track record of driving results
