Goodman International is a Pharmaceutical Company based in Kampala – Uganda, dealing in Importation and Distribution of Human and Veterinary Medicines, Nutrition products. An Agent & Local Technical Representative (LTR) for several Manufacturers from Europe and Middle East is looking for Honest & Trustworthy, Smart, and Qualified Candidates to join the Company and occupy the below position: –

 

Job Summary:  The Overall Responsibility of the Office Co-ordinator is to support the Regulations and Compliance department in the fulfillment and Execution of duties to ensure efficient management of the office and effective liaison with external partners and contacts as delegated. The office coordinator is expected to operate and perform to the highest professional standards with considerable Independence, Diversity, Initiative and high level organizational skills and knowledge of Goodman International Policies

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • To provide administrative support to the regulations and compliance department as well as top management in line with the department operations.
  • To handle incoming and outgoing communications with foreign and local partners as well as with regulatory authorities.
  • To maintain all department and company records in appropriate manner as per the company quality management system requirements.
  • To participate in internal audits and meetings in line with the Regulations and Compliance department as well as with the company ISO team.
  • To attend internal and external meetings on behalf of the Regulations and Compliance department Manager.
  • To carry out day to day visits
  • To work in co-ordination with members of the Regulations and Compliance department as well as the procurement and stores department to handle import and export operations
  • To support the company pharmacists and regulatory department in the maintenance of high standards of Good Distribution and Good Storage Practices.
  • To carry out day to day activities for the efficient running of the regulatory and compliance department by delivering and submitting company documents to various ministries and authorities.
  • To work closely with company pharmacist and Head of Regulations and Compliance department to effectively carryout department calendar activities throughout the year.
  • To compile monthly reports, prepare presentations, and participate in team activities
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or the similar equivalent qualification
  • Three years of experience in a similar field of busy environment
  • Advantage requirements: Advanced Certificates and experience of Secretarial studies and/ or computer skills.
  • Must be computer literate with high knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Package
  • Must be familiar with the use of Outlook Emails , Proper reporting format
  • Must be a quick learner with ability to work independently as well as to lead a team
  • Must have highest level of integrity
  • Should preferably be female, aged 27-30 years
