Kaliro Technical Institute in Kaliro District
The Kaliro Technical Institute is a technical school in central Uganda. This school offers its students practical education with the aim to prepare them for a career in the fast-changing technical environment of the country. In order to achieve this aim, they do not only need a proper educational program but also practice rooms in order to put the theory into practice.
With the proceeds from the Foundation, practice rooms will be furnished in the field of wood processing, construction materials, electrical engineering, plant engineering and car technology.
The Hanze University Foundation supports institutions and individuals who are involved in tertiary education in developing countries where Hanze UAS is active.
Activities eligible for financial assistance should be demand-driven, which means that a specific question from a developing country will have to be defined and submitted as a project proposal by the recipient organization. A successful application must meet certain criteria (see below). To apply, please use the form for institutions or individuals.
The primary requirement for all projects and activities is that funds should benefit the recipient party.
