About Ebola Response:
MSF Uganda is supporting the Ugandan Ministry of Health in the response to the Ebola Outbreak after the first confirmed case in September 2022.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting the WATSAN Supervisor in the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Water Hygiene Sanitation activities and infrastructure in the project according to MSF protocols, standards, and procedures in order to improve the health and living conditions of the target population. This includes: carrying tasks directly related to WATSAN activities (construction, maintenance); training and supervising hygienists, chlorinators, and sprayers assigned to WATSAN activities in low and high-risk areas, agents responsible for dressing and undressing; knowing and implementing IPC protocols specific to Ebola context.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should have an essential technician certification or proven background.
- Specialization in water and sanitation is an asset.
- Previous experience in MSF is an asset.
- Computer literacy.
- Solution and result-orientated.
