Health Promotion International Ltd (HPI) is a legal entity registered in Uganda on 28th July 2010 under the companies Act CAP.110, with our principal office located at Plot 83 Bukoto Street in Kamwokya, Kampala. HPI is a credible Environmental, Social, Health and Safety service provider in Uganda. We provide tailor made services that uniquely respond to existing needs of infrastructure development projects by facilitating capacity building, social risk management, accelerating access to health services, restoration of social assets for Project Affected Persons (PAPs), collaborations and partnerships/stakeholder engagements and fast-tracking contractor HSE compliance requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with the safety & traffic conditions and road rules.
- Drive the company vehicle to pick or drop company staff and items on time during work hours.
- Keep a track of fuel, mileage, maintenance, and other expenditures.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicle.
- Manage daily inspections on the vehicle.
- Ensure safety of all passengers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum formal education is senior 4 (O’ Level) or its equivalent.
- Valid driving license with classes B, C1 and C.
- Mandatory Valid Defensive Driving Certificate within two years from a recognized institution
- At least seven years of similar work experience
- Respectful of the company’s code of ethics and conduct.
- Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, able to cope with stressful situations
- High levels of honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work in diversified environments.
- Mature and professional demeanour.
- Ability to communicate in the local language is an added advantage
