About Imagine Her:
Imagine Her is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women, girls, and youth to become leaders and social entrepreneurs. They focus on developing sustainable solutions within communities, particularly for those marginalized due to various factors like poverty and gender.
Position Overview:
As a Community Coach, you will be responsible for implementing the Social Enterprise and Innovation Training program. This role involves recruiting and training women and youth to establish social ventures, focusing on food insecurity/agribusiness, climate change, and rural housing.
Performance Objectives:
- Entrepreneurship Training:
- Recruit and select trainees, ensuring a diverse cohort.
- Facilitate entrepreneurship sessions and support in business idea development.
- Assist in preparing pitch decks and connecting trainees with potential funders.
- Conduct due diligence for entrepreneurs selected for funding.
- Program Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Report on participant progress and attend program review meetings.
- Liaise with community leaders and local authorities about the program.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A diploma or degree in relevant fields like Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Management, Business Management, etc.
- At least 1 year of experience in entrepreneurship, preferably in social entrepreneurship training.
- Proficiency in computer use for various applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in the local language of the deployment district.
