Overview of Varsity Business School Namibia
Most organisations (both public and private) vote and disburse huge sums of money annually on expenditures for efficient running of their organisations. These expenditures are in the form of acquisition, renovations, alterations, improvements and maintenance of fixed assets such as buildings, plants and equipment. This is a commendable investment made annually on fixed and tangible assets for improved and efficient productivity and it is a sound business management policy.
However, it should be noted that these huge amounts of money could be unprofitable and worthless without human resources (human assets).
No wonder, a renowned human resources school of thought posit that the “most valuable assets in an organisation are the human assets” and therefore should be improved, maintained and “lubricated” by refresher courses for maximum results and efficiency.
To this end, Excel Consultant + Training CC was registered (incorporated) to provide these invaluable services to “lubricate” the human assets in form of provision of human resources training services. The close corporation was registered by the Ministry of Trade and industry in 1998.
Due to increasing demand from various quarters for long term learning, we have registered Varsity Business School cc to cater for both short courses as well as one to four year courses for Certificates to Bachelor degrees. Hence, Excel Consultant + Training cc has metamorphosed into Varsity Business School cc.
We do not compromise on the quality of our presentations in terms of materials, the method and mode of our presentation as well as the calibre of our presenters.
Our mode of presentation is interactive with the use of modern equipments such as PowerPoint presentation, Film shows, Role Playing, Brainstorming sessions with practical and day-to-day practical examples relevant to the job of our participants. One very unique feature of our company among others is the fact that we specialise in government (ministry) staff training and we make use of relevant government regulations and policy documents such as State Finance Act, Treasury Instructions, Stock Control Manual, Budget Preparation Manual, Public Service Act, Code of Conduct etc. during our workshop in order to cement our presentations.
Our presenters are drawn from a pool of highly qualified and experienced professionals and specialists in their disciplines who are determined to impart the needed practical knowledge and skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We have organised workshops on Financial Management, Budgeting and Budgetary Control, Internal Auditing & Special Investigation, Bank Reconciliation Statement, Basic Accounting, Government Accounting for various Finance and Accounting Officers of Ministries of Health and Social Services, Education Sports and Culture, Regional Local Government and Housing, Agriculture, Water & Rural Development and many others.

In recent times, we have won nationally advertised training tenders from Ministry of Regional Local Government, Housing and Rural Development. These are Financial Management for Regional Councils, Workshop to Evaluate the Progress of Decentralised Build Together Programme.
We have organised in-house training workshops for regional directorates of Ministry of Health and Social Services. These are Kunene, Kavango, Erongo and Omaheke Regional Directorates.
We are therefore pleased to acquaint you with our business profiles comprising of training courses offered by our team of highly qualified local and international professionals.
