Job Summary: The Admin & Dispatch Officer shall oversee the day to day administrative operations of the organization and dispatch of ambulances at the main dispatch station.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and direct emergency calls to the paramedics and ambulance care assistants.
- Dispatch ambulances to attend to calls.
- Maintain and oversee office premises and equipment’s.
- Prepare weekly dispatch report and related information.
- Generate and monitor records, prepare reports and correspondences relative to the organization.
- Oversee and supervise the work of junior and support staff.
- Receive and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms among other official documents.
- Generate and maintain contact lists for service providers, clients among others.
- Receive and direct client inquiries and complaints.
- Generate and report patient’s information to the dispatch desk.
- Receive payments for cash patients when on duty.
- Prepare, requisite for office and stock equipment
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social work and Social Administration or related fields
- Three to four years’ experience in Administration preferably in a medical industry or emergency unit.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications desired.
