Bachelor of Agribusiness Management and Rural Development (BAMD)

3 Years

Direct entry:

– O’ level certificate with a credit in Mathematics or its equivalent.

– At least 2 principal passes at A’ level in (Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics and Geography obtained at the same sitting.)

Diploma Entry:

– A national diploma or its equivalent of at least a 2^nd class standing (credit) or its equivalent in agriculture, business studies and related fields from recognized institutions.

Mature age entry Examinations set by the University (25yrs and above)

Diploma in Agribusiness and Rural Development (DAMD)

2 Years

Diploma Entry Scheme

– The U C E with credits in Agriculture, geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, mathematics or its equivalent.

– The UACE or its equivalent with at least a principal pass in Agriculture, geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, mathematics and two subsidiary passes.

OR

– A national certificate of at least a second class standing (credit) in agriculture, agribusiness management, business studies and related fields from recognized local and International institutions.

– Mature age entry Examinations

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

3 Years

Direct entry:

– Two principal passes in either science or Arts subjects: Essential: Economics, Entrepreneurship, Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics. Relevant: Geography, Literature, Religious Studies and History.

Diploma holders:

– Diploma in Business studies from any institution recognized by National Council for Higher Education/UNEB/UBTEB.

Mature age entry Examinations(MAEE)

Diploma in Business Administration (DBA)

2 Years

Direct entry:

One principal pass in either science or Arts subjects obtained at A’level: Preferably Economics with other two subsidiaries.

– Certificate in business related courses:

– Mature age entry Examinations(MAEE)

Short courses

Certificate in Computer Applications

8 Weeks

– UCE, UACE

Certificate in Agribusiness Mgt & Rural Devt.

9 months

– At least five (5) passes at (UCE)

– Must have a credit in Agriculture

OR: A principle or Subsidiary in Agriculture, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics & Mathematics

OR: Mature Age entry Scheme.
