African Rural University Intake 2016/2017

ARU is a value-based all-women university that offers a professional discipline in Technologies for Rural Transformation and a Certificate in Rural Entrepreneurship and Business Management. ARU was accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in March 2011 and has already enrolled and produced Rural Transformation Specialists at the Undergraduate and the Certificate Levels.
Entry requirements
Applicants should be females with an interest in rural development and keen on contributing to rural transformation. A minimum of Two Principle Passes in either Arts or Sciences at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting. Or with a Diploma from a recognized institution or having passed Mature Age Examination by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
For the Certificate Course, an applicant must also be a female with a minimum of Three Passes at Ordinary Level obtained at the same sitting.

Application Forms for the 2016/2017 intake can be obtained from ARU main Campus in Kagadi along Hoima-Kagadi Road

Filled application forms should be hand delivered to the Academic Registrar at the Kagadi Main Campus or Kampala Contact Office in Rubaga not later than 15th/07/2016.
