Job Summary:
The Ambulance Driver is crucial for emergency response, tasked with safely transporting patients and emergency personnel, assisting with patient care and pre-hospital care tasks, and maintaining the ambulance in ready condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive the ambulance to emergency locations, ensuring timely and efficient response to calls.
- Assist in patient care, including transferring and transporting patients to healthcare facilities.
- Participate in pre-hospital care activities under the direction of medical personnel.
- Maintain the ambulance, ensuring it is clean, functional, and well-equipped for emergencies.
- Report all incidents and emergencies accurately and promptly.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum of UACE or its equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid government-approved driving license.
- At least three years of experience in ambulance driving.
- Certificate in defensive driving is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
