Job Summary: The Housekeeping Manager will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, manage the housekeeping staff, develop and implement cleaning guidelines, and maintain inventory of supplies. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing support to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping staff.
- Develop and implement cleaning guidelines and schedules.
- Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Uphold high cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
- Support and train the housekeeping team.
- Ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Maintain a guest-focused approach in all housekeeping operations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership skills and team management experience.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
