Ardhi University DAAD Scholarships 2024-2025
Ardhi University has been granted scholarship assistance under the DAAD In- Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme for a period of three years starting from year 2015. The first two cohorts of beneficiaries were recruited and started their studies at ARU in the academic year 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. DAAD has extended its support to ARU for the academic year 2017/2018 whereby the third cohort is expected to commence studies in September 2017. ARU is therefore calling for applications for both masters and PhD programmes for those who are eligible.
Eligibility: A total of eight (8) scholarships, four (4) for Masters and four (4) for PhD will be granted this year. The scholarships will be granted to applicants who are working in the Universities and those with a possibility of being recruited in research in the following fields:
1.Architecture
2.Construction Economics
3.Disaster Risk Management
4.Environmental Technology and Management
5.Geomatics
6.Public Policy and Programme analysis
Only applicants who qualify in the above field will be considered.
Duration and commencement: Scholarships are available for duration of up to a maximum of two years for Masters Programmes and three years for PhD programmes starting from September 2017.
Equal opportunities: Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or groups as well as candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Relevance to development: PhD applicants should submit a proposal which must demonstrate relevance to development. All submitted proposals will be subjected to a plagiarism test.

Application Procedure and Deadline:
Copies of application documents containing filled Application Forms for Admission including all supporting documents indicated in the ARU application forms; filled DAAD Application Forms and all additional documents specified in the DAAD Information Sheet for Scholars must be submitted to Ardhi University in both hard and soft copies.
