Australian High Commission Small Grants in Tunisia

The Direct Aid Program (DAP) / Program Direct help is a financial aid/small grants program that seeks to promote the development of activities in Tunisia.

It is managed by the Australian Embassy and funded from Australia’s aid budget.

This program aims to alleviate basic humanitarian challenges and is an integral component of Australia’s overseas development program.

The emphasis of the program is on alleviating basic humanitarian hardships and is an integral component of Australia’s overseas development program.

It has the flexibility to work with local communities in developing countries on projects that reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development consistent with Australia’s national interest.

Funding Information

Grants will be awarded up to a maximum of TND 19, 500.

What sort of projects will be funded?

 

  • The Australian High Commission welcomes high quality applications that will support development and strengthen communities in Tunisia across all sectors.While Australian High Commission always seeks a diversity of projects, this year projects that will support development through the following will be funded:

     

  • Women and girls economic and social empowerment
  • Innovative and sustainable agricultural and water projects.
  • Building of vulnerable communities’ resilience to COVID-19 and projects which support local COVID-19 response and recovery effortsApply by 1st November.
