Background of Sharing Youth Centre Nsambya

Sharing Youth Centre is a Project of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala.

The centre was founded in 1977 by Fr. Bart Fleskens, from the Missionaries of Africa Congregation (White Fathers). It has always maintained its focus on education for underprivileged youth.  We focus and give privilege to Youth, men and women who have dropped out of school. We give them skills and hope to face the future with success and hope.

There are six fields of activities for the youth:

  • Technical Education
  • Reading room and Library,
  • Sports and Entertainment,
  • Information Computer Technology (Computer Training)
  • Pastoral Animation
  • Income generating activities

Sharing Youth Centre is registered as a non profit organisation (NGO).
