Statewide Insurance Company Ltd is one of the leading insurance companies in the insurance market today in Uganda and has been in operation for over thirty years duly licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority, underwriting a wide range of insurance policies. We are a Ugandan based insurance company owned by indigenous Ugandans with several branches all over the country and were incorporated on March 1st 1982.

Statewide Insurance Company Limited is a Uganda based insurance company owned by indigenous Ugandans with several branches all over the country. It has a paid up capital of Ug. Shs 4,600,000,000 supported by heavy investment in real property among them Sure House on Plot 1 Bombo road which houses the company headquarters.

The company has a workforce of just over 100 employees dedicated to providing insurance effectively and reliably. We have arranged Reinsurance Treaties led by PTA-RE and the Reinsurance Brokers M/s JB Boda and are committed to meeting our customers needs, including prompt settlement of their claims. We are able to do this through a committed innovative and creative work force.

We underwrite a wide range of policies and here below we highlight some of them: Motor vehicle insurance, Fire & Special Perils, Accident insurance in Public liability, Money insurance, All risks, Fidelity guarantee, Group personal protection accident, Workers Compesation, Burglary, Marine/ Cargo insurance, Contractors All Risk Insurance, Burglary Insurance, Professional Indemnity.
