TransAfrica Assurance Company Ltd is one of the leading Insurance companies in Uganda . The company is a sister concern of a multinational Group of companies known as the Mehta Group. The Group has various establishments in Uganda, U.K, Canada, U.S.A, Kenya and India. We are the Preferred insurers of leading industries like sugar,distilleries, engineering, fabrication, horticulture, cement plants, supermarkets, construction, paper industries, plastic industries, hotels, banks, chemical & pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, commercial and trading houses and household covers etc.

We are one of the licenced General Insurance Companies in Uganda by Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda, member of Uganda Insurer’s Association
