Background of Uganda College of Commerce Tororo (UCC Tororo)

The College was founded in 1984 in Tororo Girls’ Secondery School (TGS) 

 but later moved to its independent site in 1992, where it is steadily expanding. 

UCC,Tororo began as the only Women Business Training Institution.

However, since 1995, the College has become co-educational (mixed) 

and offers a wide range of Diploma and Certificate programmes for study.

It is under the department of Business, Technical and

Vocational Edcation Training (BTVET) of Ministry of Education and Sports.

Diplomas and Certificates are awarded by

Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB).
