Busitema University Faculty of Engineering
Faculty of Engineering has six (6) departments: Department of Agricultural Mechanization and Irrigation Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering and the Department of Computer Engineering.
Bachelor of Agricultural Mechanization & Irrigation Engineering (4 years)
The programme objective is to produce highly skilled professionals in agricultural mechanization and irrigation industry.

Candidates who have done well in Physics and Mathematics at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education
- Diploma Holders Scheme
At least 2nd Class or Credit ordinary Technician Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution. In addition, candidates should have obtained at least credit performance in Mathematics component of the Diploma
Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (2 Years)
The programme is to produce highly skilled technicians in the Agricultural Engineering field, with robust knowledge and skills necessary to competitively respond to demands of Uganda’s farmers, processors and industry, as well as those of the African sub- region.

Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Electrical, Agricultural and Ginning Engineering, the candidate should have obtained a credit performance in mathematics.
