Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive the business strategy for the department
- Leadership and management of staff
- Financial Management and Reporting (Credit Control; Forecasting; Income Variance, Budgets and Expense Control)
- Responsible for all technical functions including all product development and policy wording enhancement for policies and insurance
- Development of new business opportunities
- Participation in contentious claims and overall responsibility for all Claims
- Maintain good client and Insurance Market relationships
- Collation of underwriting information
- Closings to markets/obtaining market confirmation of cover
- Obtaining Renewal/Underwriting information from specific identified clients
- Agree final terms with specific identified clients
- Premium collection
