The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a Provident Fund mandated to provide social security to its members as prescribed by law under CAP 222 (Laws of Uganda) through efficient management of members’ contributions. The NSSF asset base is currently over Ugx. 9.8 trillion, making the Fund one of the largest players in Uganda’s economy.
Job Summary: The Digital Supervisor will be responsible for planning and implementation of the Fund’s Digital Strategy to drive growth, engagement and attainment of the Fund’s Marketing & Communications goal.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and support execution of the Fund’s digital media presence strategy across all digital platforms.
- Develop and support execution of the Fund’s online media buying and advertising strategy across the major digital platforms.
- Support the development of digital creative concepts through creative designs of stills, video, info-graphics.
- Plan and execute the Search Engine Optimization strategy to contribute to campaigns conversation and optimize new and existing user experience.
- Profile the Fund digital users by collating key user information to assist in decision strategic making
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
- Employ Analytics tools to collect, collate digital data from all the Fund’s digital platforms campaigns to develop usable insights.
- Quality control all content on the Fund’s digital channels to ensure accuracy, relevance to users, context and ensure up to date information.
- Develop and manage a digital content library to preserve all content generated from the Fund’s activities for usage and reference Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Develop and manage a mechanism for real time monitoring of the Fund’s digital activities, performance of digital platforms.
- Periodically leverage the Fund’s digital platforms to obtain insights from users through polls, surveys and other tools.
- Provide support, guidance and establish good working relationships with the Fund’s digital vendors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a degree in Marketing, Communications or Business from an accredited University.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar position in a busy organization.
- Excellent knowledge of latest design programmes
- Ability to interpret briefs
- Understanding of typography
- Ability to interpret and create solutions that enable delivery of business objective
- Ability to understand and appreciate our Digital Journey and Vision
- Ability to work with others to develop impactful digital campaigns
- Excellent understanding of digital
- Appreciation of Analytics and customer data in building customer value
- Always up to date with New technology and opportunities they provide
