Course Objective: 

The Diploma of Marketing is designed to give its candidates a well-rounded qualification which will assist them to develop a knowledge base in marketing management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills so that marketing functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically candidates would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in conducting marketing campaigns.

Course Methodology: 

Classroom activity will consist of lectures, class discussions and in-class exercises based on the assigned cases and readings. Lectures will refer to, but not review, all material in the textbook.

You will be expected to come to class having read all assigned readings (chapters, cases, articles) and ready to share and discuss. Discussions will focus on the application of concepts rather than mere reviewing.
