Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is committed to aiding and uplifting the community.  They offer learnership programs and Ekurhuleni bursaries to members of the community, developing skills, and social as well as economic stability.

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality bursaries are offered to people with disability, women and those from a disadvantaged background.  Candidates who comply with all the minimum requirements are encouraged to apply.

EKURHULENI BURSARIES REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for one of the bursaries in the fields as mentioned above, candidates will require the following:

  • Grade 12 student
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Possess a valid South African ID
  • Possess a valid South African Driver’s License
  • Candidates must have no criminal record
  • Only South African citizens will be considered
  • Candidate must be a resident within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality

In addition to certified copies of all above documentation, candidates are also urged to provide the following:

  • A Comprehensive CV
  • Certified copies of any and all qualifications
  • Proof of Residency with the name of the candidate on

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.  If you have not heard anything within six weeks after the closing date, please accept that your application has been unsuccessful.
