Job Summary: We’re looking for a full-time Digital Business Development Officer to join our team. If you’re a passionate digital business development professional with a mix of digital media, lover of selling, and creative content creation including graphics, we’d love to hear from you.
The person will be responsible for digital media handling, lead generation, and driving revenue through our digital channels. You should have an infectious drive to exceed individual and team revenue goals. The ideal candidate for this position is an independent, self-motivated, technology savvy, proven digital sales professional who can confidently represent our brand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital media handling
- Develop digital media visual content creation – including stories/Reels and generating raw content for stills, audio, and videos from field or other multiple sources.
- Review and/or design visual assets for AgriShare Uganda sales and marketing collateral (graphics, posters, banners, flyers, infographics, videos etc.) to ensure AgriShare Uganda’s brand is represented accurately and consistently.
- Write, edit, and post new content for digital media platforms
- Provide support on media posting and scheduling.
- Provide support on messaging, reporting, and segmentation as needed.
- Provide support on reporting communications metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
Digital lead generations
- Target customer identification and lead/opportunity creations on our online platforms.
- Communicating with customers, making extensive follow-ups to potential customers.
- Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information on our online platforms.
- Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Research potential clients online, identify decision making body and generate interest.
- When necessary, route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team for further development and closure.
- Team with entire sales team to build pipeline, close deals and generate revenue.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- This is an excellent role for an ambitious and organized person technology savvy with 1-3 years of suitable experience in developing business using digital tools.
- You should be passionate about media especially social media, plus a keen interest in photography and/or videography.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Familiarity with the latest industry technologies and trends in social, video, print and digital design.
- Must have high teamwork spirit, ability to learn very first, and work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
