Job Summary:  The Technical Support Officer is responsible proper installation of company hardware devices

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Install and configure Fleet management products on database.
  • Follow the company’s standard operational policies and procedures including established escalation procedures
  • Ensure that company resources are well utilized like tools, phones and laptops.
  • Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion.
  • Collect relevant technical details to effectively troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Perform complete, accurate, and timely entry of information into CRM tool for all incidents/support requests (e.g. gather and document required information from customers).
  • Capture new vehicles onto the database.
  • Prepare quality check list, Job cards and work reports requirements within the department.
  • Customer liaison (attend to their queries)
  • Utilize remote secure access technologies such as Apps to diagnose and resolve customer issues

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in a relevant field and Previous experience of mechanical Engineering

  • Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers.
