Job Summary: The Facilities Supervisor will act as a key enabler for business, the role is responsible for the management of Bank’s Premises, lead in identifying sites for new premises, managing refurbishment projects, consultants and contractors, ensuring that all service and maintenance contracts are reviewed and renewed on time for preventive, planned corrective and unplanned corrective maintenance, handle leases and landlord relationships, and quality delivery of business requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To oversee and supervise the quality of work for employees and bank’s service providers to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
- Overseethe bank’s transport requirements and quality of service provision and effective management of all bank premises
- Support Business in Identifying new bank premises, conducting premises suitability surveys, lease negotiations with landlords for bank premises and having the leases registered/renewed in Liaison with the Company Secretary
- Coordinate business requirements to ensure all specifications/requirements are identified and provided for in the projects scope of works and designs, and budgets
- Ensure there is a secure banking atmosphere for customers, staffs and security to bank premises and assets
- Liaise with departments/Functions to understand business needs/requirements for projects and their impact on Premises and make appropriate recommendations
- Manage the supply of power/Electricity to all bank facilities/Premises to ensure uninterrupted availability of mains and backup power
- Manage contractors and consultants in delivering quality refurbishment and Maintenance projects and ensure prequalification of all Facilities service providers
- Plan and coordinate the acquisition and distribution of designated office consumables at Head office
- Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
- Plan, coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance and periodic regular repairs of bank cars, equipment, and machinery in accordance with maintenance schedules and manuals & Asset Management policy
- Review and verify requisitions for items from branches and departments and make recommendations for approval in line with bank policies
- Plan monitor and coordinate engraving/bar coding of Bank assets in line with Bank Assets Management policy
- Develop and monitor staff performance in accordance with HR policies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a degree in either Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, civil engineering, building or construction engineering
- An established and demonstrable track record in the field of project management aimed at cost optimization
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative or similar industry role
