St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor is a private, non-profit Ugandan hospital, whose mission is to guarantee affordable medical services, especially to the most needy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare payments, including obtaining signature
- Record bank transactions on NAV (double check the cashbook of accounting)
- File and audit all the documents of the bank including procurement and accounting docs)
- Keenly verify that the balance of Receivables and Payables on NAV are consistent (double check with School, billing and procurement files)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Accountant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Accounting from a recognized Institution
- Good knowledge of Dynamics NAV
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Work-centred commitment
- Possess keen attention to detail
- Good team player willing and able to work in harmony with others
- Willingness to learn, be corrected and supervised
- An honest person with high sense of integrity
- Exercise maturity and sound judgement based on facts rather than emotions
