Fresher Accounts Officer Jobs – Masrcorp

Masrcorp, a social enterprise focused on transforming living and working conditions through clean cooking technologies, is hiring for the position of Accounts Officer. This role is based in Kampala, Uganda.

Job Summary: The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting in various accounting functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recording and posting daily financial transactions.
• Reconciling financial discrepancies by analyzing account information.
• Processing invoices, receipts, and expense forms promptly.
• Assisting in preparing financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Managing timely processing of payments.
• Monitoring and managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting in tax return and financial statement preparation.
• Maintaining confidentiality of financial data and adhering to financial policies.
• Collaborating with other departments to achieve financial objectives.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance standards in Uganda.
